HSO can also assist you with landlord/tenant disputes and mediations in addition to referral assistance and obtaining community rental search information.

Academic Offerings / Programs
NPS offers degrees in more than 60 fields of study including national security, electrical engineering, computer engineering, space systems, physics and much more.
NPS History
The Naval Postgraduate School began as a marine engineering institution in Maryland back in 1909. Three years later, NPS was dubbed the Postgraduate Department of the United States Naval Academy. Up until 1945, the school was unable to confer degrees to its students—it was when Ernest King, a naval Fleet Admiral, created a committee to assess graduate education for military personnel.
Thanks to Admiral King's efforts, Congress passed legislation that designated NPS as an accredited higher education institution. Two years later, Congress provided funding that allowed for the purchase of the Hotel Del Monte in California which would become the new HQ for NPS. Finally, in 1951, NPS settled down in Monterey where it has remained for the past 67 years.
NPS hosts students from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy in addition to students from allied countries and civilian employees.
